This is great! Hot as hell, and it really filled in the characterization gap I was feeling from canon characterization of young Mary and John. (Which, yeah, has been bothering me. ;D )

I especially liked the repeated use of "safe and normal" by both of them, and how that echoes Sam, and how the part of her that thrills to the hunt is so like Dean.
