This was a very enjoyable read! I liked Jared's character very much--he was very sympatico. The questions that he had about his new life where the questions I had, and I like the way he came to understand what his job meant. Very moving, I thought.
Jensen was annoying in the beginning, a real prick, and even though I suspected he would very soon reveal himself not to be, you did a very effective job at making him a giant douche. I liked the way Jared slowly came to like him, just as I did. :) The way you revealed what made Jensen Jensen broke my heart, poor thing. And I *loved* that they were partners permanently.
I knew the basics of Dead Like Me, but even if I didn't, this story would have been just as enjoyable. Thanks very much for sharing this!
