OH HOLY CRAP. I am FLAILING right now, I love it so much. This is 100% worth the wait in every way. So even though my favorite part was EVERYTHING, I will go through and point out the stuff I liked ESPECIALLY.
The way it opened was just FANTASTIC. This is exactly what I was hoping for with the quirky customers thing.
And SAFETY IN NUMBERS, and Jared not meaning what he thinks it means, I DIED. DIEDDDD.
And when you introduced Suit Guy there I may have squealed a little. Just a little. Possibly flailed my hands a bit, complete with ~spirit fingers. :D! I love how neat and put-together you describe Jensen, and that he asks Jared to sugest a dish, and that it's ORGANIC FOOD. Lemon thyme couscous! Cherry plum reduction! Goat cheese!
"And in case you were wondering: it's organic, too. And delicious," Jared says self-deprecatingly. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
And you included CHAD. HEARTS, hearts forEVER. And boss!Daneel is the best thing EVER, because I LOVE it when the ladies are awesome in fic! And Mike the produce guy!!! Genvieve with her BFF shove-in-the-right-direction-ness. I think if I flail any harder I might break something!
And you even included JARED IN A SUIT. HOW ARE YOU SO AWESOME??? This is the perfectest thing ever to perfect in the land of perfectdom. I am overwhelmed. UBERWHELMED.
I loved the little detail that they're not going to be held responsible for damages, since Jared clearly has trouble keeping his shirts clean. :D
